whom I work with
If you also belong to the queer community, are creatively oriented, or otherwise lead an unconventional lifestyle, it’s likely we’ll work well together. A genuine connection in a therapeutic relationship allows for meaningful work to take place.
I have experience working with a breadth of focuses including identity, sexuality, grief, life transitions, self-esteem, navigating relationships, troubling thought loops, perfectionism, and pervasive doubt. If you’re finding yourself questioning long-held beliefs, frustrated with feeling stuck, confused about your place in the world, overwhelmed by what’s behind you and yet to come, heavy with pain, or desiring of deeper self-understanding, I am here to accompany you.

how I work
I balance the importance of nurturing awareness and growing insight with finding relief from distress. My approach is client-centered (compassionate and trusting of your process), trauma-informed, and culturally conscious. I am warm, curious, and gentle but direct. Together, we may move through moments of reflection, stillness, breath, and laughter.
I work within a depth orientation and from a psychodynamic perspective to follow and to cultivate intuition. Through intentional exploration of one’s inner landscape, we are able to become more acquainted and aligned with ourselves. We are then able to feel into the context of our experience, to see our relationship with the wider world more clearly. As this capacity expands, healing potential grows and meaningful change unfolds.
In this process, I stay closely attuned to the here and now and integrate somatic practices, psychoeducation, and tools for emotional regulation. Above all, I listen to and honor what you want from our time together.
